Soy una ceramista e ilustradora chilena, he estado acompañada por la cerámica desde hace más de una década,
durante ese tiempo he participado en diversas exposiciones de arte colectivas y también he tenido las mías.
He hecho clases y talleres de arte y escultura cerámica, porque también soy profesora de Artes Visuales y también diseñadora, creo firmemente que el arte es un vehículo para educar a través del cual es posible enseñar todo tipo de contenido y que por medio de el podremos mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas, por lo que actualmente estoy en un programa de educación artística en instituciones sociales y culturales de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, España.
Con respecto a la cerámica en mi vida creo que es una compañera siempre presente que me da un lenguaje específico a través del cual puedo expresar y sentir y espero sinceramente poder colaborar para que la cerámica sea reconocida en nuestro país como una disciplina y
no sólo una materialidad, porque estamos muy atrasad@s en el tema, porque es mágica, porque es pura alquimia, también porque es una disciplina atávica que ha acompañado a la humanidad a través de toda su evolución y también a través de la mía.
Todo esto también me ha dado la oportunidad de trabajar con grandes amigos, y también puedo dibujar, por lo que todo esta bien .
Debido a las oportunidades que se me han presentado, las personas que me rodean y los momentos que estoy viviendo, estoy muy agradecida.
I am a ceramist and Chilean illustrator, I have been accompanied by the ceramics for more than a decade, during that time I have participated in various collective art exhibitions and I have also had some mine.
I have done classes and workshops in art and ceramic sculpture, because I am also a teacher of Visual Arts and also a designer, I firmly believe that art is a vehicle for educating through which it is possible to teach all kinds of content and by means of we can improve the quality of life of people, so I am currently in a program of artistic education in social and cultural institutions of the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain.
With regard to the pottery in my life I think she is an always present companion who gives me a specific language through which I can express and feel, and sincerely hope be able to collaborate so that the ceramics is recognized in our country as a discipline and not just a materiality, because we are very behind on the subject, because ceramic it is magical, because it is pure alchemy, also because it is an atavistic discipline that has accompanied humanity to
through all its evolution and also through mine.
All this has also given me the opportunity to work with great friends, and I can also draw, so everything is fine. Due to the opportunities that have been presented to me, the people around me and the moments that I’m living, I’m very grateful.
